Death Records

I am collecting Death Records from ScotlandsPeople for our database and would like to know all the different names for MacLea prior to 1745 that might show up in the database.

I have MacLea and McLea of course but looking for the variations pre name change. :)

Thank you,

Re: 30 Free Credits at ScotlandsPeople

The last time ScotlandsPeople gave out free credits we built the excel spreadsheet for the members. Since it has been such a long time I would like to add to it but was wondering if the heavy researchers have areas that I should focus on? ie. If you had 300 credits would you focus on MacLea \Livings...

An Account of the Name of McLea

Hello Everyone, Ok, So I was looking around the web for books and articles of old because of the upcoming Highland Games and Kyle's reference to the "Stewarts of Appin". I came across Kyle's website http://kitenet.net/~kyle/family/wiki/news/the_complete_account_of_maclea.html about the Com...

Re: McLeas and Livingston/es in Ireland

Hi Kyle; Well it was a dark and stormy night. Maybe not. Anyway, I print a lot. A long time ago in 2009, I found this on the Web - I hit print and when I came back to the printer there were pages all over the floor - not numbered. I just put the information in my "pile" and forgot about i...
