Hi Robert,
You may or may not recall you sent us a message back in 2004 which included some detailed info on your Lismore Livingston ancestry and an inquiry I believe. Here is my update to the info that sent to us regards your Lismore Livingstone family lineage. Duncan and Sarah Livingstone were the earlier householders with family that lived I found out on the Livingstone croft at Achuaran in the late 1700's and early 1800's prior to Duncan Livingston and Christy Mclean living there so I believe that Duncan and Sarah who have no baptism records for any sons in fact had one son your ancestor Duncan Livingson jr. married to Christy Mclean who subsequently after his parents located with his wife and children including your ancestor John Livingstone b. 1830 in the old Livingstone croft at Achuaran. I also found a photo of an old croft at Achuaran yesterday. Don't know it was your families or not but it could have been. It is very old and roofless now but still the fieldstone walls are amazingly intact after all these years. That old building and a barn and some property I noticed not too long ago were up for sale at Achuaran on the Isle of Lismore.

Here to recap was you earlier message from May 16,2004 to our Forum which I had not seen before this week and was before I really started to take a look at other Livingston genealogy other than my own Livingston families.

"Just starting to delve into some of this geneology on my own and am hoping for some connections. I came across some birth records that ID my grandfather (Allan b. 1867). He came to New York in the 1880's and began a business with his brother John. His last residence was in Tinnebrough (spelling) with a sister probably Isabella. Family lore has it that his grandfather and Davids father were brothers. To the best of my knowledge the rest of the family remained in Scotland. Here is the link: John Livingston & Euphemia McIntyre John, son of Duncan Livingston & Chirsty McLean (b. 1830, Lismore) Euphemia (b. c. 1830, Glasgow) 1 Mar. 1851, m.
