Is splitting the way forward ?

Fit like all . As a quiet member of this forum I felt I had to ask this question . Maybe I am missing something but do not see the need with modern technology to split the forum/clan up into areas . Without a clear planned way forward this could lead to bad feeling , division and a watering down of what is happening just now . Without knowing anyone personally it seems you are a group of knowledgeable , talented people who if given roles to develop your particular area of expetise could achieve far more as one group/clan with the support of the cheif . Anyway rant over....what do I know anyway !! H
